1. Who we are

GymSync is a workout logging application. Depending on how you use the Service, we may process certain information to provide accounts, cloud storage for your logs, and core app features. This policy applies to personal information processed in connection with the Service.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

3. How we use information

We use the information to:

4. Where data is stored

The Service uses cloud infrastructure (for example, database and authentication providers) to store account and workout data you sync. Data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our subprocessors operate. We take reasonable steps designed to protect information in transit and at rest.

5. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with vendors that help us run the Service (such as hosting, authentication, analytics, or crash reporting), only as needed for them to provide services to us and subject to appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect users, or in connection with a merger or acquisition.

6. Photos and media

GymSync may request access to your camera or photo library so you can attach workout photos. We process photos you choose to upload in order to store and display them in your account. Workout photos and captions you log may be visible to your paired accountability partner. You can unpair at any time from the app to stop sharing new activity with that person. If you see inappropriate content from a partner, use Report Content in Profile → Settings or contact us as described on our Support page.

7. Notifications

If you opt in to push notifications, we use your device’s push token and related metadata to deliver messages. You can turn off notifications in your device settings or inside the app where available.

8. Retention

We retain account and workout information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backup, legal, or security purposes unless a longer period is required by law. You may request deletion of your account as described below.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or limit certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email on our Support page. We may verify your request before responding.

10. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.

11. Security

We use industry-standard measures designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
